Farmers Insurance – Kimberely Blake Agency

A storefront sign for the Farmers Insurance Kimberely Blake Agency on Del Webb Boulevard in Lincoln, combining channel letters for the Farmers shield and name with red flat cut out lettering below.

About This Project

The agency took suite C102 in a shopping center on Del Webb Boulevard in Lincoln, a stucco building with tall storefront windows between square columns. The new office needed a wall sign over its windows that followed the Farmers brand standards and would stand out to drivers in the center. We handled the full job: design, survey, permitting, fabrication and installation.

The Farmers shield logo and the FARMERS name are channel letters with white returns, mounted to the fascia above the entry, and INSURANCE runs beneath them in red flat cut out acrylic letters. Seen from below, the white returns give the channel letters real depth while the thinner red letters sit close to the wall. The mix follows the brand's standard lockup while keeping the smaller word as simple cut letters. The windows below carry the Farmers logo in white, so the brand reads from the street and up close.

Combining channel letters and flat cut outs lets a sign put its emphasis where it counts. The main name and logo get the presence of dimensional letters, while supporting words stay crisp and economical, and the result still looks like one sign.
